After a long day exploring, I was pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere of the hotel and the delightful breakfast options. The staff truly went above and beyond!

However, our room felt a bit outdated, and the shower control was temperamental, which made for a less than perfect experience.

We had a wonderful time visiting the nearby sights like Floyd's Barber Shop and enjoyed the unique tour of Mount Airy in an Andy Griffith Show police car. The spacious room was perfect for our large family, especially with a small kid in tow.

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast options were limited for families with children.

I had a wonderful experience during my one-night stay. The room was impressively clean and quiet, which made for an excellent night’s sleep. Plus, the hotel’s location was perfect for my errands, with plenty of dining and shopping options just a short drive away. However, the breakfast could use some improvement, as it leaned on the basic side with limited options.

A commendable fit for a city escape in Mount Airy with very good value for money. The friendly staff made check-in quick and pleasant. Stay away from busy weekends to avoid noise disturbances.

Family with children mixed experience

So we had a decent time overall right? First off, staff was friendly enough to help us get a room that was big enough for all of us and had a decent fridge in it. The breakfast was better than I expected, even had a cappuccino machine available all day long. That was a nice surprise!
